Rams Make Two Roster Moves

The Los Angeles Rams announced they have promoted OLB Keir Thomas to the active roster and waived OLB Zach VanValkenburg in a corresponding move.

Thomas, 25, signed with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Florida State following the 2022 NFL Draft. He made the initial 53-man roster but was waived in September and re-signed to the practice squad.

Thomas was promoted to the active roster later in the season. The Rams waived him again during roster cuts this past preseason and re-signed him to the practice squad.

In 2022, Thomas appeared in eight games for the Rams and recorded four total tackles.
