Rams reportedly 'irritated' about Week 13 matchup with Patriots

The 2020 NFL season still is four months away, but the schedule for the upcoming campaign was released last week, and it seems like one Los Angeles team isn't too happy with one of their matchups.

The Los Angeles Rams are reportedly a "little irritated" with their Week 13 matchup against the New England Patriots, according to Greg Bedard of the Boston Sports Journal.

The Patriots play in L.A. during Weeks 12 and 13 and will play the Chargers less than a week before their matchup with the Rams. New England doesn't have much of an advantage in Week 13 due to the shortened week, but the Rams also have to face the Arizona Cardinals on the road before returning home for "Thursday Night Football."

When thinking about the potential advantages New England has in Week 13, the only thing that comes to mind is the fact the Patriots won't have to travel to the West Coast three separate times in 2020.

New England's matchup with the Rams wouldn't be an issue if the team didn't share SoFi Stadium with the Chargers, but that's a story for another day.

It seems that the Rams still may be salty about their Super Bowl LIII loss to the Patriots, but they'll have  a much better shot at beating New England during Week 13 as Tom Brady is on to a new venture with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
