While the NFL Draft is just around the corner, all eyes in the Los Angeles Rams organization are elsewhere.
Superstar wide receiver Puka Nacua voluntarily checked himself into rehab after starring in some bizarre episodes off the field late last season.
That's why it was so encouraging to watch him attend the voluntary veteran minicamp and look as sharp as usual.
Talking to the media, Rams head coach Sean McVay shared his optimism about Nacua's return to top form and getting his act together.
Nacua "looks great" and is "doing really well," McVay said, Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times.
“He and I have a great relationship,” McVay said. “Feel really good about kind of the direction we’re going.”
Nacua has been one of the most proficient pass catchers in the league since the Rams drafted him in the fifth round of the 2023 draft. He burst out as one of the biggest steals in recent draft history, and he looks like someone who could easily win the receiver's Triple Crown.
However, he's also due for a record-breaking contract extension, so the Rams need to know that they can trust him to stay out of trouble and on the field.
He's still young, and there have never been any complaints or concerns about his work ethic, so this might only be a blip on the radar once it's all said and done.
