Though the Los Angeles Rams are deep into offseason mode, the headlines keep coming—and the latest buzz has fans doing a double take.
The Rams have emerged as a potential suitor for a familiar face in their secondary. In a recent post on X, Pro Football Focus (PFF) floated the possibility of the team reuniting with none other than All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey.
According to PFF’s Gordon McGuinness, the Rams are among several teams reportedly eyeing Ramsey, including the Washington Commanders, San Francisco 49ers, Atlanta Falcons, and Baltimore Ravens.
McGuinness points to the fact that LA's zone-heavy scheme defensively could be a natural fit for Ramsey and a potential trade.
Ramsey, the fifth overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, spent the past two seasons with the Miami Dolphins. Before that, he spent four impactful years in Los Angeles—where he played a pivotal role in the Rams' Super Bowl-winning 2021 campaign. Many fans believe that this was Ramsey's best season as a pro.
In 2024, Ramsey managed to stay healthy, suiting up for all 17 games while notching two interceptions and 11 pass deflections. Over the course of his impressive nine-year career, the All-Pro corner has racked up 24 interceptions.
Despite turning 31 this October, Ramsey continues to show he has plenty left in the tank.
Could a reunion be on the horizon? Time will tell—but the buzz alone is enough to fire up Rams Nation.
