Rams to start QB Jared Goff vs. Packers; John Wolford out with injury

The Los Angeles Rams officially ruled current backup quarterback John Wolford out for Saturday's divisional-round playoff game at the Green Bay Packers because of the neck injury he suffered in last Saturday's 30-20 win over the Seattle Seahawks.

Starting signal-caller Jared Goff will re-enter the starting lineup at Lambeau Field.

Wolford, a former Alliance of American Football quarterback, received the start last Saturday after Goff underwent surgery to repair the broken thumb on his throwing hand but was sidelined and ultimately transported to the hospital after he took a hit to the head.

Goff replaced Wofford and completed nine of 19 passes for 155 yards with a touchdown in the victory.

Former Jacksonville Jaguars starter Blake Bortles, the third pick of the 2014 NFL Draft, will serve as Goff's backup at Green Bay.

Meanwhile, Rams defensive tackle and two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year Aaron Donald confirmed on Wednesday that he is feeling "healthy" after temporarily going down to a rib injury during the win at Seattle.
