Kupp to miss Cards game after testing positive for COVID

Rams WR Cooper Kupp tests positive for COVID-19, ruled out against Cardinals

The Los Angeles Rams will be without one of their top wide receivers during Sunday's regular-season finale against the Arizona Cardinals.

Cooper Kupp tested positive for COVID-19, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. He already was placed on the reserve/COVID list, but it was unclear whether he tested positive or was exposed to someone with the virus.

The Rams also will be without starting quarterback Jared Goff on Sunday after he underwent surgery on his thumb. John Wolford is set to get the start for the first time in his career.

The winner of Sunday's Rams-Cardinals game will clinch a playoff berth. Considering the Rams are without two of their biggest playmakers, things are shaping up for Arizona to make its first postseason appearance since 2015. If L.A. loses, it can still make the playoffs with a Chicago Bears loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Kupp has appeared in all 15 games this season, reeling in 92 receptions for 974 yards and three touchdowns.
