Davante Adams entered Week 4 listed as questionable due to a hamstring injury that surfaced after the Los Angeles Rams ’ loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Head coach Sean McVay expressed confidence Adams would play, and the star receiver did not disappoint, hauling in four receptions for 56 yards and a touchdown in the Rams’ 27-20 win over the Indianapolis Colts.

Although Adams is no longer on the Week 5 injury report, he told reporters Tuesday that he is still not fully healthy.
“Good. Much, much better,” Adams said. “I wouldn’t say it’s 100%, but this game is not 100% health for really anybody. I felt a lot better than how I thought I would. I feel a lot better now than what I thought I’d feel after [last week’s game].”
With a short week ahead, there were minor concerns about his workload, but Adams played his normal share of snaps against the Colts and is expected to be ready for Thursday’s matchup with the San Francisco 49ers.
“It’s the physical part, like we talked about last week,” Adams added. “I think if you can come out healthy and feel good, typically you turn it over and you don’t have as many issues. If you get banged up in the game, you need a little bit more time for some of the soreness to calm down to mentally prepare and do some treatment. I feel pretty good so I don’t see too big of an issue for me this week.”
Through four games, Adams has been a consistent offensive weapon, catching 17 passes for 269 yards and three touchdowns. He has posted at least three catches for 51 yards in every game and scored a touchdown in each of the last three weeks.
The Rams’ injury picture extends beyond Adams. Left guard Steve Avila, recovering from a sprained ankle sustained in Week 1, was a full participant in Tuesday’s practice but did not start in Week 4, with Justin Dedich filling in. McVay has not confirmed Avila’s availability for Week 5.
On the right side, veteran tackle Rob Havenstein (ankle) was listed as a non-participant, while tight end Tyler Higbee (hip) also sat out the team’s walkthrough. McVay has not indicated that either player will be sidelined Thursday, but their status will be closely monitored given the short turnaround.
The Rams prepare for a Thursday night primetime showdown with the 49ers, a matchup that could shape the early NFC West standings. With Adams trending upward and Avila nearing a return, Los Angeles appears close to full strength, though lingering concerns on the offensive line remain a factor against one of the league’s most physical defensive fronts.
