Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Demarcus Robinson is suing the hotel where he was robbed, claiming the LA-based hotel didn't do enough to protect him, according to TMZ Sports.
In October 2023, Robinson was robbed at gunpoint outside of the Lexen Hotel in North Hollywood. The thieves allegedly stole $100,000 from him and no one was injured in the incident.
Now, Robinson is suing the hotel, claiming negligence. He is seeking $149,500 in damages plus punitive, according to TMZ Sports.
Robinson is claiming the hotel didn't have adequate security guards. He also claims that employees didn't call the police until after the suspects fled.
After the robbery, Robinson managed to appear in several games for the Rams. He logged 26 catches, 371 yards and four touchdowns.
Robinson was a fourth-round pick in the 2016 NFL draft by the Kansas City Chiefs.
