Randy Moss is returning to ESPN after showing the middle finger to cancer. The Hall of Fame wide receiver recently announced that he is excited for his triumphant comeback.

In an exclusive interview with TMZ, Moss spoke about missing his co-workers every day while receiving treatment.

Man, I look forward to it. I missed my crew. Greenie, Alex, Teddy.

Randy Moss said

However, there’s one individual whom he is not looking forward to seeing when he gets back.

I really didn’t miss Rex Ryan much because he got on my nerves. So, Rex, if you’re hearing this, I am coming back, so scoot over.

His words may seem a dig at the former Jets head coach, but he meant it as a joke.

In all honesty, we have a great group of guys that I work with that I tremendously missed for two months, and ESPN accepted me back with open arms.

Football fans first noticed that something was not right behind the scenes when Moss wore shades to hide his eyes during an ESPN broadcast. The 48-year-old later disclosed that he survived cancer before announcing a break from TV.

I am a cancer survivor. Some trying times, of course, but, you know, we made it through. And for that I thank you all… I did have cancer.

Moss’s doctors revealed that the legendary wide receiver was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma, a form of bile duct cancer that requires a lengthy surgery.

They found it in the bowel duct, right in-between the pancreas and the liver. So my doctors they went in, I had a six-hour surgery.

Moss will rejoin the ESPN GameDay crew in week one.

Randy Moss hosted the grand opening of Crisppis, a fried chicken store in Miami

Moss was in his usual chipper self on Friday outside of the newly opened Crisppi’s Chicken on Biscayne Boulevard, where he passed out spicy chicken sandwiches.

It’s one of his favorite foods in existence, and customers can purchase the item paired with either mango habanero or sweet Thai chili sauce. 7News Miami reported that Crisppis will operate two stands at the Hard Rock Stadium so that Miami Dolphins fans or any football fan can enjoy the delectable taste of their chicken sandwiches.

We pushed the grand opening a few months [until] I was able to physically come and show my face. Now that I am here, my health is great, and I think everybody for the support but the reason I am here is to be able to let people know… that [Crisppis] have a five-year partnership with the Miami Dolphins .
