Welcome to our third installment of ranking the quarterbacks that the Chiefs will face in 2025.

Today we go from No. 13 to 12, as we order from weakest to best. There is a bit of mystery with this QB, but fortunately it's a late season matchup, which will provide Kansas City with plenty of film to study. Lets take a look. . .

No. 12: Tennessee Titans QB Cam Ward

The Titans selected Ward with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. He is coming off a dynamic season for the Miami Hurricanes in which he threw for 4,313 yards and 39 touchdowns, also adding 204 rushing yards and four TDs.

Ward was the consensus No. 1 pick throughout the entire pre-draft process. He is an accurate passer who possesses a quick release and plenty of arm strength. Ward is also very mobile, able to make throws while scrambling or pull the ball down and run.

Like many talented QBs, Ward carries the "gunslinger" label, meaning although he can make incredible throws, he's a little reckless with the ball at times, leading to turnovers. He only threw seven interceptions in 2024, but did fumble the ball over 30 times throughout his collegiate career.

Ward has drawn plenty of comparisons to the Chiefs' own Patrick Mahomes. While those are obviously huge shoes to fill, they do definitely have stylistic similarities. If Ward comes even half close to the success Mahomes had during his first season as a starter, this could be one of the premier QB matchups of the season.

The Chiefs will have a good idea of what Ward brings to the table by the time they meet, which won't be until Week 16 in Tennessee. It's very possible that he's much better than where I'm ranking him, but it's hard to know with rookies. Not to mention, K.C. plays a ton of great QBs in 2025.
