Baltimore Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson has had a phenomenal NFL career thus far. Now in his eighth season, Jackson has completed 65.1% of his passes for 20,928 yards and 176 touchdowns with 50 interceptions. His career passer rating of 103 is the best in NFL history. He also has run for 6,339 yards — the most all-time by a quarterback — and 34 more scores.
In his career, Jackson has made four Pro Bowls, gotten three First-Team All-Pro selections and won two NFL AP MVP awards.
Jackson was selected with the 32nd overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft after an illustrious three years with the Louisville Cardinals, which included a Heisman Trophy campaign in 2016.
He has only played in four of the Ravens' seven games this season, missing the past three games with a hamstring injury. In those appearances, Jackson completed 71.6% of his passes for 869 yards and 10 touchdowns with just one interception.
His status going into this past Sunday's matchup against the Chicago Bears caught attention over the weekend. He was listed as a full participant in the Ravens' practice on Friday, but that was retroactively changed to limited on Saturday.
Now, with the Ravens set to take on the Miami Dolphins in a short week on Thursday, his status is yet again in question.
On Monday, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh addressed whether Jackson will be active against the Dolphins.
"We feel very confident about it," Harbaugh said, per ESPN reporter Adam Schefter. "We expect him to be out there Thursday night."
In Jackson's absence, the Ravens went 1-2, with their lone win coming against the Bears on Sunday in a 30-16 beatdown.
The Ravens (2-5) and Dolphins (2-6) kick off at 8:15 p.m. ET on Thursday at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. The game will air on Prime Video.
