Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens made it three wins in a row on Sunday as they took down the Cleveland Browns, 23-16. Shedeur Sanders grabbed headlines after making his NFL debut following the head injury to Browns quarterback Dillon Gabriel. The Ravens stole the show, though, scoring 13 points in the fourth quarter to secure an impressive comeback victory against a now 2-8 Cleveland side.
Jackson did not have his best game on Sunday, but it was enough to help his team win. The former NFL MVP registered 14-of-25 completed passes for 193 yards, zero touchdowns and two interceptions. Jackson was also sacked five times.
The Ravens improved to 5-5 after defeating the Browns. They still have a long way to go to fight for a playoff spot, but the Ravens' three-game winning streak is an indication they are still fighting.
Jackson, however, is now dealing with an injury, which has added a bit of doubt to his status for Baltimore’s next game. The three-time All-Pro quarterback was not spotted in practice on Wednesday, and it was later reported that his absence was caused by an ankle injury.
The good news for the Ravens, however, is that Jackson returned to practice on Thursday. The team announced via the official injury report that the four-time Pro Bowler practiced in full on Thursday.

Based on these developments, it appears that Jackson sitting out practice on Wednesday was more for injury maintenance than a significant issue. It is worth noting that he also missed practice on Wednesday last week. He practiced on Thursday and Friday before taking the field on Sunday against the Browns.
At this point, there appears to be no concern surrounding Jackson’s status for Baltimore’s next game. The Ravens will be back in action on Sunday against the New York Jets at M&T Bank Stadium.
Barring any unforeseen circumstances, Jackson, who missed three consecutive games earlier this season due to a hamstring issue, should start at center against the Jets on Sunday.
