Baltimore Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson was not able to see out his team’s 28-24 loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday. The former NFL MVP was forced to exit the game after taking a knee to the back and was in significant pain as he made his way back to the locker room. After initially being tagged as questionable to return, the Ravens eventually ruled Jackson out for the remainder of the contest.

Baltimore is back in action on Saturday for a road game against the Green Bay Packers. Jackson has missed practice all week long as he continues to nurse the back issue, which cast serious doubt on his availability against the Packers.

Jackson has dealt with multiple injuries this season, which have limited him to 12 games. During that stretch, the three-time All-Pro quarterback has produced 181-of-284 completed passes (63.7%) for 2,311 yards, 18 touchdowns and six interceptions. Jackson also has 63 carries for 340 rushing yards and two TDs.

The Ravens held one final practice on Christmas Day in preparation for the Packers game. Jackson sat out again, prompting the team to decide on his status for Week 17.

The Ravens announced on Friday that Jackson is officially doubtful to play against the Packers on Saturday.

It was Tyler Huntley who deputized for the Ravens after Jackson's injury, and the former could be in line to get another start on Saturday if Jackson is unable to go.

As for the Packers, Jordan Love is also in danger of sitting out the game. He is still under the NFL's concussion protocol and has been tagged as questionable to play.

Baltimore will be on the road for Saturday's contest, with kickoff from Lambeau Field scheduled for 8:00 p.m. ET.
