The 2025 NFL Draft is not far in the rearview mirror, but that does not stop teams’ scouting departments from preparing for next year’s event. For the Baltimore Ravens, they had another outstanding draft, selecting various potential steals and adding to an already deep roster with their 11 picks.
Heading into this year’s regular season, the Ravens do not have many critical needs. There are several unproven positions, including left guard and the second starting inside linebacker, but their roster is as strong as an ox. Still, some 2026 mock drafts have the Ravens attack skill positions and loading up on already lethal position groups.
One of those is NFL Spin Zone’s most recent 2026 first-round mock draft. The college football season is yet to get underway, so very few prospects have solidified themselves as legitimate first-round picks, but there is enough film on them to project what their futures could look like.
Sayre Bedinger crafted the mock, and at their projected pick 30 slot, he has the Ravens selecting Antonio Williams, a wide receiver from Clemson.
“The Ravens don’t have many needs on paper. They always draft in such a way that they’re ready to replace guys who leave in free agency. They are a well-oiled machine. But at receiver, they seem a bit thin,” Bedinger writes. “Maybe Tez Walker can take that next step this season in his second year with the team, but otherwise, the Ravens have the quality of roster to take luxury picks like Antonio Williams in the 1st round.”
The Ravens already have an efficient receiver group. At face value, the duo of Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman may not jump off the page, but they each had breakout campaigns in 2024. Flowers made his first Pro Bowl, posting 1,059 yards and four touchdowns, and Bateman had a career-best year with 756 yards and an impressive nine touchdowns.
General Manager Eric DeCosta also made the move to bring in DeAndre Hopkins in March. While the 33-year-old is looking to prove he still has it, he only inked a one-year deal. Williams would be his direct replacement, picking up where another Clemson great eventually leaves off.
Williams is coming off a great season in 2024. He amassed 904 yards and found the end zone 11 times. His traits offer exactly what Baltimore looks for in their offensive weapons, too. He possesses tremendous quickness, strong hands, and masterful route-running. However, he would be another sub-6-foot wide receiver. The Ravens have forever lacked a big-body wideout, and Williams, although he flashes physicality, does not fill the need from a down-to-down basis.
The 21-year-old would add more juice to a historic Baltimore offense. Although there could be more pressing needs that Baltimore could choose to address come draft time.
