Ravens Draft Could Produce Multiple Starters

The Baltimore Ravens were not reliant on the 2025 NFL Draft to find immediate impact players ... but they may have found some anyway.

Even in the time since draft week, Baltimore hasn't been too desperate to find contributors in free agency. They don't need much help around the roster following a 12-5 record and another AFC North title. They are built to win now, and the Draft serves as extra chance to throw darts at promising prospects who can develop into contributors later on.

After a massive 11-player draft class, they may have found some players that could still see Week 1 reps and be productive right away for John Harbaugh's squad.

The Ravens drafted multiple prospects who were ranked higher than their eventual selection in pre-draft boards, which points to an impressive performance by general manager Eric DeCosta. That has lead Clifton Brown of BaltimoreRavens.com to breakdown which Ravens picks have the best chance to impact the rotation early into 2025.

Baltimore's headliner in this class is Georgia safety Malaki Starks, who many claimed to be a top-10 talent during the scouting process. The Ravens grabbing him at No. 27 overall makes for one of the best steals of the offseason. Joining Kyle Hamilton in the secondary, he can easily find a way into the starting lineup to form a youthful and versatile coverage duo.

Starks' centerfield playmaking and aggressiveness will free up Hamilton to move around and impact multiple areas on the field, which is where he excels most.

Outside linebacker Mike Green out of Marshall is another tantalizing athlete that slipped into Round 2 (No. 59 overall) after entering the Draft with first-round potential.

His nation-leading 17 sacks pairs with Kyle Van Noy on the Ravens' pass rush to create a scary downhill attack for opposing offensive lines.

These two may be the most anticipated debuts - partly because we know they'll see the field at some point early - but other rookies shouldn't be counted out either.

With the release of Justin Tucker, sixth-round pick Tyler Loop becomes the likely candidate to take over place kicking duties to start the season. He has big shoes to fill, but the opportunity to build experience as soon as he enters the league will do wonders for his confidence moving forward.

Offensive linemen Emery Jones Jr. and Carson Vinson join the O-line unit with imposing reputations that can compete for a starting lineup spot if they have a good showing in camp.

Lastly, LaJohntay Wester adds an intriguing flavor to the receiver room. Wester will be forced to develop into a more well-rounded pass catcher, but his quick-twitch and elusiveness will be used right away on kick returns.

This group features a lot for Ravens fans to be excited about. They may not have predicted to see this much potential from the rookie class, but they will sure be happy to see it on the field in 2025.
