Ravens HC John Harbaugh: Bills QB Josh Allen presents 'unique' challenge

The Baltimore Ravens host Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills this Sunday in an intriguing early-season matchup between two 2-1 AFC squads.

If the Ravens hope to come away with a Week 4 victory over the Bills, they'll have to keep the league's leading passer under wraps. This week, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh complimented Allen while also pointing out how difficult it is to prepare to play against him.

"He's a premier quarterback. He's one of the very best in the league," Harbaugh told reporters. "He presents his own unique challenges. There's no quarterback exactly like him in football. They've built the offense around him really well."

While Allen has earned praise, the fact that it's coming from Harbaugh isn't a surprise.

Last year, Harbaugh revealed that the Ravens "really, really liked" Allen coming out of Wyoming in the 2018 NFL Draft. As it turned out, the Bills drafted Allen at No. 8, while the Ravens later traded up to select some guy named Lamar Jackson with the No. 32 pick.

Heading into this week's action, Allen leads the NFL in completions (94) and yards (1,014), boasting a 71.2 completion percentage with nine touchdowns and two interceptions.

The 26-year-old has also been dangerous on the ground this season, rushing for 113 yards and a touchdown off 19 carries.

Last week, Allen posted a remarkable 63 pass attempts in a 21-19 loss to the Miami Dolphins. Allen finished the day 42-of-63 for 400 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions.
