Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh fielded a question Thursday regarding his brother Jim Harbaugh, who is a candidate for NFL head coaching jobs fresh off a national title at Michigan.
He was asked what the chances were of his brother leaving the Wolverines to take an NFL job and he certainly left the door open for his younger brother to make a return to the professional game.

“Well, I mean, I don’t know what he’s going to do. I’m not sure what Jim’s plans are. Whatever he does will be what’s best for his family. I know Michigan has been a joy for him to go back to his alma mater," Harbaugh told reporters. "His family loves it there, the players love him, he loves the players, the coaches, the fanbase. I don’t know which direction it’s going to go. I would think the president and the board of trustees would be doing everything they can to try and keep them. That would be priority No. 1 if I was them."
“He loves Michigan, but he loves the NFL too, so we’ll have to see,” Harbaugh added.
The younger Harbaugh's future remains up in the air. He has already spoken to NFL teams and appears to be serious about potentially pursuing the opportunity. On the other hand, he has also kept the door open with Michigan.
If his own brother doesn't even know what the Michigan coach will do, it’s safe to say the decision has not been made. That said, all signs suggest Harbaugh has serious interest in returning to the NFL.
