The Baltimore Ravens have a rich tradition on defense, and now they have something else that fits that tradition ...

As they employ one of the best defensive players in the entire NFL in safety Kyle Hamilton, and he will be looking to lead the team to the same success they had in 2024 this season.

In a recent article by PFF's Zoltán Buday, he ranks who he believes are the top 32 safeties in the NFL heading into the 2025 season. And at the top spot, he has the 24-year-old Ravens star.

"Hamilton showed off his versatility in 2024, moving to free safety for most of the second half of the season after playing mainly in the box or as a slot cornerback initially," Buday wrote. "He was also the most complete safety in the league as the only player at the position to earn at least an 88.0 PFF grade in coverage, run defense and pass rushing."

The Ravens selected Hamilton out of Notre Dame with the 14th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, and they have not looked back since.

He finished the 2024 season with a very impressive 107 total tackles, with 77 of them being solo. Hamilton was also able to show his ball-hawk skills by snagging an interception and defending nine passes.

The Ravens lost to the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Divisional round this past season, so Hamilton and the rest of the team's defense will be looking to help lead the team back to the playoffs to redeem themselves.
