Ravens' Lamar Jackson Offers 'Dope' Four-Word Scouting Report on DeAndre Hopkins Signing

DeAndre Hopkins has been one of the best wide receivers of this generation, and he has landed with the Baltimore Ravens this offseason through free agency.

And the team's superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson seems very happy about it.

"That guy is dope," Jackson said in a recent interview with the media. "He’s different … I threw him a pass on a wet field and he caught it with his left hand. Didn’t even use both hands to get up. That’s some super-vet type stuff."

Every team that Hopkins has been on has seen what he brings, including the Kansas City Chiefs.

After being traded from the Tennessee Titans to the Chiefs this past season, Hopkins racked up a solid 437 receiving yards and four touchdowns in 10 games. But while he may have appeared in 10 games, he only started in five of them, which makes his stats even more impressive for his age. ...

But also suggests that he is fading from his glory days.

The 33-year-old wide receiver comes into a young Ravens receiver room where he could provide quite an impact. The team has a few younger receiving threats such as Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman, and tight end Isaiah Likely, all of whom are 25 years old or younger.

With a youthful group of guys like that, having a receiver like Hopkins who has been in the league as long as he has will be a welcome addition.

The Ravens' last Super Bowl win was back in 2013, so Hopkins and the rest of the team's weapons will be hoping they can help lead the team to The Big Game to make some noise. ... and to show off just how "dope'' they are.
