Ravens players excited about talent on both sides of the ball

The Ravens' offseason may have started slowly but they ended up adding several pieces that have the team very excited for the 2023 season. Players on both sides of the ball see no weaknesses.

Baltimore has lacked weapons on offense for years. So, it added wide receivers Odell Beckham Jr., Zay Flowers and Nelson Agholor through free agency and the draft this offseason. The team also added new offensive coordinator Todd Monken.

Right tackle Morgan Moses believes it's the most talented offense anyone on the team has ever played on.

"I don't think any of us have played with this amount of talent on this side of the ball before, Moses said, via Sarah Ellison. "Being able to have a great play-caller in Todd Monken and also have Lamar Jackson here and signed up for multiple years."

The Ravens didn't make a ton of changes on defense besides getting a little healthier and younger, but LB Roquan Smith says he would still take this unit over anyone else's.

"I feel like the expectations are very high," Smith said, via Clifton Brown of the team's website. "I feel like if we play to our standard and everyone stays healthy…we're not weak in any spots if you ask me. I like our D-line versus anyone. I like our secondary verses anyone, and I for sure like our linebackers versus anyone."

Nobody wins championships during the summer, but it is certainly the time of year that championship teams are built. Baltimore has had its fair share of injuries over the past couple of seasons, setting the team back to start the season.

If the Ravens can stay healthy and mesh as a team up until the start of the season, they will surely have the ability to make a strong push for a Super Bowl.
