Ravens QB Tyler Huntley to start vs. Steelers with Lamar Jackson out

The Baltimore Ravens are a long shot to make the 2022 NFL postseason. If they're to make one final push and squeeze into the expanded field, it won't be former MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson leading them there.

Jackson hasn't played since suffering an ankle injury in Week 14 against the Cleveland Browns. Though he participated in on-the-field work last week, he was ultimately ruled out against the Los Angeles Rams.

The former Louisville quarterback was sidelined from practice both Wednesday and Thursday this week. Huntley was listed on the team's injury report on Thursday with an illness, but was a full participant in practice.

In 12 games this season, Jackson has completed 64.4% of his passes for 2,882 yards, 16 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. He's also added 133 carries for 767 rushing yards and two rushing scores.

Huntley has appeared in six games and made three starts, completing 67.5% of his passes for 940 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions, while adding 35 rushing attempts for 222 yards and two scores. In his one start, Josh Johnson went 28-for-40 for 304 passing yards, two touchdowns and one interception.
