Ravens RB Derrick Henry shows off acrobatic offseason work out

Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry has never heard of a day off, especially in the offseason.

Henry has been notorious for showing off his explosive and creative offseason workouts and added a new one to the series this past week which made the rounds on social media.

In the video originally shared to his Instagram, Henry can be seen doing resistance training and one legged hurdle reps while rushing up a hill.

Henry will be entering the 10th year of his career and his second with the Ravens this fall. In 2024, Henry posted another dominant campaign rushing for 1,921 yards with a league leading 16 rushing touchdowns.

The former Alabama running back proved to be an impressive compliment to star quarterback Lamar Jackson who rushed 915 yards and four touchdowns himself.

Despite posting a 12-5 record, winning the AFC North, it wasn’t enough to make a run at a Super Bowl as the Ravens fell to the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round of the NFL Playoffs.

The urgency for Henry this fall won’t just be around keeping himself in top condition but also to work on a contract extension with the Ravens. Henry is currently due to become a free agent following this season but the Ravens’ front office would like to get a deal done before then.

“We’ll look at that,” general manager Eric DeCosta said back in January. “I think it’s a good question. I’m just so grateful that Derrick chose us last year. He came in and … I can honestly just say his attitude and the way he played was amazing to watch. His relationship with his teammates, his humility as a player, his work ethic — I can’t wait to see him next year.

“I know it was tough on him to end the wait it did; tough on all of us. But I think we have a chip on our shoulders to come back next year with a vengeance, to start faster than we started this year, to not start 0-2 next year, to get out of the gates faster. I think Derrick will be a big part of that.”
