Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins expected to undergo knee surgery, miss four to six weeks

The Baltimore Ravens will be without their top running back for the foreseeable future.

A third-year back out of Ohio St., Dobbins' career has been largely hampered by injuries thus far. He gained 925 scrimmage yards in 15 games as a rookie in 2020 with 805 rushing yards and nine touchdowns on 134 carries but missed all of last year after tearing his ACL, LCL, meniscus and hamstring during a 2021 preseason game.

Dobbins' lengthy rehab caused him to miss the first two games of this season, but he made his debut in Week 3 against the New England Patriots. He produced 40 yards on nine touches against New England while playing 27 snaps and had his best game of the year in Week 4 against the Buffalo Bills.

In the loss against Buffalo, Dobbins rushed 13 times for 41 yards and one touchdown, while adding four catches for 22 yards and an additional score through the air. He also appeared on the field for a season-high 35 snaps. He ran eight times for 44 yards in Week 5 and seven times for 15 yards in Week 6.
