Ravens RBs J.K. Dobbins, Mark Ingram could be cleared to face Steelers

The NFL postponing the much-anticipated AFC North showdown involving the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers to Wednesday afternoon (3:40 pm ET kickoff) because of COVID-19 issues among the Ravens could allow Baltimore to activate a couple of needed offensive weapons.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero tweeted late Monday afternoon that Baltimore running backs J.K. Dobbins and Mark Ingram will be eligible to come off the reserve/COVID-19 list after completing mandatory 10-day isolation periods. Dobbins and Ingram will have to test negative for the coronavirus and report no symptoms to compete at Heinz Field on Wednesday.

Noteworthy Ravens starters such as quarterback Lamar Jackson and tight end Mark Andrews are among those expected to be sidelined through at least Wednesday evening.

The 6-4 Ravens were originally slated to play at the 10-0 Steelers on Thanksgiving night until the league rescheduled the game to Sunday afternoon because of positive COVID-19 test results and subsequent quarantines affecting the Ravens. The league then moved the contest to Tuesday evening and, ultimately, to Wednesday afternoon.

According to Jamison Hensley of ESPN, nearly two dozen Baltimore players are on the reserve/COVID-19 list as of Monday evening, leaving the Ravens with 38 individuals on its 53-man roster.

Among running backs, Dobbins leads the Ravens with 380 rushing yards on 72 carries. Ingram, meanwhile, has accumulated 232 yards on 57 attempts.
