Ravens reach deal with second-round pick David Ojabo

According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the Baltimore Ravens have reached an agreement with rookie pass rusher David Ojabo.

Ojabo, who the Ravens drafted with the No. 45 pick in this past NFL draft, was holding out from Ravens' training camp in order to secure his first NFL deal, but it's a holdout that ultimately lasted under a week.

Perhaps one of the sticking points in the negotiations between player and team was Ojabo's health. The pass rusher from Michigan was certainly talented, but the Ravens drafted him in the second round despite the fact that he tore his Achilles at a pro-day workout before the NFL draft.

Ojabo notched 11 sacks and 12 tackles for loss in 2021 for the Wolverines.

If it wasn't for the injury, Ojabo was poised to be a first-round pick. Instead, he fell to the Ravens in the second round.
