Super Bowl LVII was a classic, totaling the third-most points scored (73) in Super Bowl history. And the Ravens should steal one of the Chiefs offensive playmakers this offseason.
That player is impending free agent WR JuJu Smith-Schuster, who led Kansas City with seven catches in its 38-35 win over the Eagles.
The 2023 season will be the 26-year-old's seventh season. He's coming off a successful one-year deal with the Chiefs. Smith-Schuster had 88 catches for 933 yards and three touchdowns on his way to his first ring.
The Ravens already made a "hard push" for the former Steeler in 2021 and 2022, but he slipped through their fingers on both occasions.
Here’s the interesting part on Steelers’ WR JuJu Smith-Schuster’s one-year deal with Pittsburgh: the Ravens made a hard push to sign him and he wound up taking significantly less money to go back to the Steelers, per sources.

However, the third time could be the charm. Kansas City is pretty fruitful at the receiver position, so it would be surprising if they gave him his projected four-year, $58.64 million contract.
Smith-Schuster fits the Raven mold as well. He's "tough over the middle of the field," according to Pro Football Focus, and ranks as its No. 33 overall free agent of 2023.
Baltimore had the third-worst total receiving yards in the league and didn't have a receiver eclipse 500 yards in 2022.
The Ravens No. 1 priority this offseason is extending QB Lamar Jackson. But adding Smith-Schuster would be a great follow-up move to give Jackson the help he desperately needs.
