The Ravens are in desperate need of a receiver and an ideal fit may have just been released for their taking.
The Vikings released WR Adam Thielen and Baltimore should go all in on the veteran.

A onetime undrafted free agent from Minnesota State who went on to catch 55 touchdown passes for his hometown team, Thielen has plenty left in the tank at age 32 and wants to land with a contender. pic.twitter.com/FxsFP9z7MX
Thielen is looking to play for a contender and if the Ravens are able to retain QB Lamar Jackson, they are certainly that.
The 32-year-old didn't miss a game in 2022, posting 70 catches for 716 yards and six touchdowns. And he did it playing next to the 2022 NFL Offensive Player of the Year in WR Justin Jefferson.
Signing a veteran receiver isn't anything new for Baltimore either as we've seen the team find success in signing older receivers like Anquan Boldin and Derrick Mason in the past.
Boldin joined the Ravens after seven seasons with the Cardinals while Mason joined them after eight seasons in Tennessee. Thielen is now looking for a new home after spending his first nine years in Minnesota.
A play on Thielen would also show Baltimore has confidence in Jackson and wants to build around him.
After ranking as the third worst team in the league in receiving yards and not having a receiver eclipse 500 yards in 2022, Thielen may just be the missing piece for the Ravens.
