The Baltimore Ravens and the rest of the NFL teams recently released their full 2025 regular season schedules, and the reigning AFC North champions got pretty lucky.
One thing that is tremendously challenging when it comes to being a professional athlete is all of the traveling that you have to do to go to away games. But the Ravens will not have to worry about that as much as other teams will.
According to a recent post made by Bill Speros on X, he totals up the miles that each NFL team will have to travel this upcoming season. And right near the bottom, the Ravens will only have to fly 10,647 miles, which is the third-least in the league.
While 10,000 miles sounds like a very long way, that is nothing compared to the 37,086 miles that the Los Angeles Chargers will be traveling in 2025.

The 32 NFL teams will cover a total of 625,947 miles this season, averaging 19,561 per team, and 2,301 per trip. 6 NFL teams will travel more miles than it takes to go around the world.

The Ravens will still be playing teams like the Houston Texans and Los Angeles Rams who are quite a flight away. But for those games, Baltimore will not have to go anywhere, as they will be playing them at home in M&t Bank Stadium.
Lamar Jackson and company fell short in the playoffs this past season, losing to the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Divisional round. In 2025, they will be looking to get right back there, and then make it even farther to the Super Bowl.
And not being as jet-lagged as their opponents could be a big help in their effort to do that.
