The New Orleans Saints, with their new head coach in Kellen Moore, have an important NFL Draft looming in the next couple of months. Their offense and defense will both have clear holes following free agency.

How will they navigate the first three rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft? They currently hold four picks in the first two days of the selection process.

Tyler Forness of A to Z Sports unveiled a new mock draft, with a unique style, late last week.

Saints improve run game on offense & defense

9. Will Campbell, OT, LSU
40. Tyleik Williams, DT, Ohio State

Campbell is often seen as the top offensive line prospect in this class. He is getting mocked as early as fourth overall to New England recently.

Campbell would compete for the tackle spot with Trevor Penning, and at minimum, suffice as an impressive guard option. The Saints could use either of those next season and possibly beyond.

Williams is one of the top run stoppers along the defensive line in this draft class.

The former Buckeye won't have the greatest pass rush chops entering the league, but New Orleans was horrible against the run for most of last season. They desperately need help improving against rushing attacks, and Williams would step into a potential starting role quite early into his NFL career.

Not to mention, he plays with fantastic effort and provides energy for any defense he plays for going forward.

There may not be a better run defender in the 2025 NFL Draft class on the defensive line. In the run game, Williams has a chance to develop into one of the very best in the NFL. His floor is extremely high for just that reason, possessing high level traits to work at the point of attack, and create consistent penetration.

As a pass rusher, Williams is less dynamic. He has enough movement skills to make an occasional impact, but he will probably never be consistent in that department. That could limit him to a plus starter that plays a lower amount of snaps in obvious passing situations. -- Ryan Roberts

New Orleans adds offensive playmakers

71. Elijah Arroyo, TE, Miami FL
93. Jalen Royals, WR, Utah State

Love the value on Arroyo. I am not sure he makes it to early round three, but if he does, run the card in, New Orleans. He is one of the best downfield receiving threats in the entire class and possesses unique burst for a tight end prospect of his stature. Big fan of him and the fit if the Saints chase a tight end on day two of the draft.

As for Royals, he feels like one of those smaller school wideouts that the league may really have interest in during the second day. He finds success downfield and is a fluid mover who can play inside or outside.

Raw athleticism and deep-threat capability jump off the tape, with legitimate 4.38 speed that translates directly to vertical route success. The deep receiving metrics (83.89) back up the film study, though the drop-off in production on intermediate routes (81.14) and short game (78.56) expose concerning gaps in the route tree development. Overall rank (72) slots him firmly in the Day 3 conversation where his splash-play potential offers intriguing upside. -- NFL Draft Buzz

Both players fulfill depth needs for the Saints if they don't take one of the two positions in rounds one or two. Great picks and value for the Saints on day two.

The Saints have a new regime, but they need to fortify the trenches. Campbell and Williams do that for them in a couple of different ways. Arroyo is an emerging tight end who can help the Saints attack vertically down the field and Royals can be a target vacuum underneath. -- Tyler Forness

We will see if Kellen Moore and co. follow this sort of blueprint or not in late April. If so, fans will probably be relieved to see the mixture of talent in the trenches and at skill positions on days one and two.
