Philadelphia Eagles chief security officer Dom DiSandro and San Francisco 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw "exchanged words" pregame on Sunday before their Week 13 contest, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.
The head of security and the fifth-year pro was at the center of Sunday's sideline altercation, as Greenlaw took a swipe at DiSandro's face, and "Big Dom" responded by pointing a finger and chirping at the player. Both Greenlaw and DiSandro were ejected following the third-quarter incident.

"I'm told DiSandro and Greenlaw exchanged words pregame and [DiSandro] was trying to keep the peace. He's a security officer so he was trying to do that in the pregame," Garafolo said. "So that kind of laid the groundwork for what happened in-game."
The insider added that when DiSandro and Niners general manager John Lynch talked postgame, their conversation "ended on a good note."
Later Monday afternoon, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the NFL is reviewing the incident and there's "expected to be follow-up with the Eagles this week."
San Francisco held a 21-6 lead at the time of the skirmish, but with still over nine minutes left in the third quarter, fans at Lincoln Financial Field were hoping it would provide a spark for their team.
Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts scored a one-yard rushing touchdown on a "brotherly shove/tush push" later in the drive to bring Philadelphia (10-2) within one score, but that was as close as they would get.
The 49ers (9-3) ended up crushing their newfound rivals, 43-19, in the NFC Championship Game rematch and are now only one game behind them for the top seed in the conference standings.
