Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins and his agent David Mulugheta parted ways according to Kelsey Conway of the Cincinnati Enquirer.
That's a significant development with Higgins playing on the francise tag and set to become a free agent this offseason.
Joe Burrow made it clear after Monday night's win over the Cowboys that he wants the Bengals to re-sign Higgins this offseason. He doubled down on Wednesday, calling the 25-year-old "a need" moving forward.
The Bengals have never gotten a long-term deal done with a Mulugheta client, including safety Jessie Bates, so Higgins changing agents is notable—especially since he's set to become a free agent.

They are no longer working together. Higgins is currently playing on the franchise tag and will be seeking a long-term deal in the offseason. @Enquirer
