Report: Brian Flores set to interview for Bears

Hosts of NFL experts and fans were shocked Monday when Brian Flores was fired as the head coach of the Miami Dolphins. It may not take long for the 40-year-old to land back on his feet.

There have loads of figures in the mix of reported names whom the Bears have requested to interview, but Flores appears to be in line for a meeting in the near future. Chicago has requested meetings with both the offensive and defensive coordinators from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Byron Leftwich and Todd Bowles, as well the Buffalo Bills with Brian Daboll and Leslie Frazier.

Flores just completed his third season as the head coach of the Dolphins, a year in which Miami finished 9-8 after starting 1-7. In his three years with the team, the Dolphins went 24-25 and failed to make the playoffs in every season.

The Bears fired both general manager Ryan Pace and head coach Matt Nagy on Monday following a 6-11 season.
