Report: Broncos cut A.J. Bouye after one season

A.J. Bouye's stay with the Denver Broncos has reportedly come to and.

According to Mike Klis of 9News, the Broncos are releasing the cornerback just one year after acquiring him. The Broncos' cap space jumped up to $32.7 million with the release of Bouye.

The 29-year-old joined Denver after spending three seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He recorded 23 solo tackles in seven games during the 2020 campaign.

Bouye also played for the Houston Texans, but his best season came in 2017 with the Jaguars when he had six interceptions and 56 tackles.
