The Bengals thin defensive line hierarchy may be getting a depth boost. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported free agent defensive tackle Montravius Adams is visiting the Bengals this week.

Adams has played eight NFL seasons including the last four with Pittsburgh. He appeared in 11 games last season, notching 14 tackles. He has a tie-in to the Bengals' staff, having played under defensive line coach Jerry Montgomery from 2017-20.

He's posted a 60-plus Pro Football Focus grade just twice in his career. The Bengals have four established defensive tackles on the roster as of this writing as they look to round out the room ahead of the season.
