Tyreek Hill has been the subject of trade rumors since he expressed frustration with the Miami Dolphins at the end of last season, but it does not sound like the star wide receiver is on the verge of being dealt.
Hill led the Dolphins with 5 catches for 49 yards and a touchdown on Thursday night in the team’s 31-21 Week 3 loss to the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, N.Y. Prior to the game, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reported that Miami trading Hill is “not something that is a consideration at this stage.”
Wolfe said the Dolphins still believe they can get their season on the right track and do not want to make any major changes.
Bills defense isn’t falling into a trap facing struggling defense. They still have plenty to prove.

The report came before a loss that dropped the Dolphins to 0-3 on the season, but they were a heavy underdog in the game. They avoided being blown out, so their stance on Hill and the rest of the team probably has not changed much — at least not yet.
Wolfe also said that Hill has made fewer explosive plays over the last year because of Tua Tagovailoa’s added emphasis on getting the ball out quickly to avoid injuries. One reporter recently annoyed Hill by asking about the lack of big plays from the eight-time Pro Bowl wideout.
Hill has already looked frustrated on the sidelines at times this season, which is hardly a surprise given the current state of things in Miami.
The Dolphins continue to insist they are not hitting that panic button, but that could change if they do not get into the win column in the next two weeks. They host the New York Jets in Week 4 and will be on the road against the Carolina Panthers in Week 5.
