Report: Falcons throwback uniform game dates revealed

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Atlanta Falcons will wear their throwback red helmets on at least three different occasions this season — Week 6 against the Bills on Monday Night Football, Week 15 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Week 17 against the Rams, which is also on Monday night football.

The Falcons throwback red helmets might be the cleanest in the game. So much so, that fans have been dying for the team to make them part of their permanent uniforms, and why not?

Why does the team actively want to look worse on most Sundays?

They would certainly sell more merchandise if they turned back the clock and made these their full-time uniforms. Perhaps that happens someday, but it’s evident the team is getting the message, given they will wear them during three games next season, two of which will be nationally televised.
