Report: Giants shopping WR Darius Slayton

With the 2022 NFL Draft on the horizon and the New York Giants currently holding the No. 5 and No. 7 pick in first round, there have been trade rumors and speculation galore surrounding the G-Men in recent weeks. According to reports, New York may also be looking to move one or two of their top wide receivers in the near future.

Slayton was selected by the Giants in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft and his eight touchdown receptions that season in 14 games played are still a career-high. Slayton's touchdown total and 740 receiving yards as a rookie were both team-highs.

The Auburn product played in all 16 contests in 2020 (starting 15 of them) and his 96 targets, 50 receptions and 751 receiving yards were all career-bests as well. His receiving yardage and three scores through the air led the entire Giants team for the second year in a row.

In 2021 however, Slayton finished with just 26 catches on 58 looks for 339 yards and two touchdowns.
