The Cardinals worked out Bengals free agent tight end Drew Sample this week.

Field Yates reported the news.

The Bengals are still rather thin at tight end , with Devin Asiasi and Irv Smith Jr. remaining in the room.

Sample missed all but two games last season with a knee injury.
