Report: Ravens set to hire Michigan defensive analyst Doug Mallory
Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

The Baltimore Ravens are set to hire Michigan defensive analyst Doug Mallory, according to Matt Zenitz of 247 Sports. Mallory will be a defensive backs coach for the Ravens, where he will work under John Harbaugh, the brother of former Wolverines coach Jim Harbaugh.

The move also marks a return to the NFL for Mallory. He previously spent six season with the Atlanta Falcons from 2015-20, working his way up to a senior defensive assistant and defensive backs coach.

Mallory won a national championship with Michigan this past season, but it wasn’t his first time as part of a staff that won it all. He worked as a defensive backs coach at LSU under Les Miles in 2007, the year the Tigers won the national title.
