Morris interviewed for the Jaguars' head-coaching job last week. He was also on the Falcons' radar after taking over for Dan Quinn, who was fired in October. However, Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator Arthur Smith was the Falcons' No. 1 choice.
Morris had been with the Falcons since 2015 and was head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2009-11, finishing with a 17-31 record.
As for offensive coordinator, it appears Meyer would like former Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator Scott Linehan to be Jacksonville's next OC.
