Reports: Texans add CB Jeff Okudah, DE Denico Autry

The Houston Texans agreed to deals with cornerback Jeff Okudah and defensive end Denico Autry on Monday, NFL Network reported.

Okudah agreed to a reported one-year $4.75 million deal that includes $2.5 million guaranteed. Autry agreed to a reported two-year, $20 million deal with $10.5 million guaranteed.

Okudah, 25, played last season for the Atlanta Falcons, collecting 44 tackles and three passes defended in 13 games (nine starts).

In 38 career games (31 starts) for the Detroit Lions (2020-22) and Falcons, since he was the No. 3 overall draft pick in 2020 out of Ohio State, Okudah has two interceptions, with one returned for a touchdown, as well as 168 tackles.

In 2021, Okudah ruptured his Achilles in Week 1 and was out for the remainder of the season. The Lions traded Okudah to the Falcons in April of last year.

Autry, 33, had a career-best 11.5 sacks last season for the Tennessee Titans and also had a career high 50 tackles in 17 games (14 starts). In 142 games (89 starts) over 10 seasons with the Oakland Raiders (2014-17), Indianapolis Colts (2018-20) and Titans, he has 59 sacks and 310 tackles.
