Rob Gronkowski is the undisputed Party King of the NFL but in an interview with James Corden, the tight end explained why he has never painted the town with Tom Brady despite the fact that the duo has won four Super Bowls together. The answer, unsurprisingly, is mostly about age.
"To tell you the truth, no," Gronk said when asked if he had given Brady the "full-Gronk" treatment. "We never really hit it like that, gone out like that. We got a pretty significant age difference if you really think about it. When I got into the NFL, I was 20 years old, he was 32 years old and married. So if you really think about it, he wasn't really going to be hanging out with a 20-year-old that he barely knew and going out on the streets with me and my friends when he's married, 32 years old with a kid."
Gronk explains why he's never partied hard with Tom Brady:

Honestly, Gronk's explanation makes a lot of sense. By the time Gronk got into the league, Brady was a family man and it would have been a little troubling if he had been going out with Gronk and a bunch of 20-somethings. It's almost like if LeBron was out partying with Kuzma (though, to be fair, LeBron is probably enjoying some choice vino when he's chilling with his family at home).
While the two don't party together, Gronk made it clear that he and Brady have had "a lot of good times." It's just that most of those have been on the field. He explained that their "party" was winning games and "scoring touchdowns" rather than raging face together.
