Jayden Daniels looks to have suffered a significant injury tonight during ‘Sunday Night Football’. With that, Robert Griffin III was among many who immediately offered their well-wishes to the Commanders’ QB.
RGIII took to Twitter immediately to offer his prayers after Daniels’ injury, which appears to be a somewhat serious dislocation off his left arm after a tackle taken tonight. He has also since posted an additional video just reacting in disbelief to the injury.
Prayers up for Jayden Daniels

“Prayers up for Jayden Daniels,” Griffin III posted first.
“I can’t do this,” Griffin III then said in the video shared next, with nearly half a minute of shaking his head at the injury.
Towards the end of tonight’s game against the Seattle Seahawks, Daniels was tackled by Drake Thomas. His left arm clearly gets bent backward as he came to the ground, with him soon getting medical attention on the field. That arm was then wrapped up as he was walked off the field, with several teammates looking emotional about what happened, and back to the locker room. That’s then even worse considering Washington was down 38-7 at the time of the injury, with Seattle going on to win at 38-14 on SNF.
Daniels would finish the game being 16-22 (72.7%) for 153 yards and an interception, while rushing for 51 yards and a touchdown. However, having already missed three games this season due to other injuries with a hamstring and a knee, it looks like Washington’s QB1 could now be set to miss more time with this rough-looking issue to his non-throwing arm.
Jayden Daniels appeared to suffer an arm injury in the fourth quarter of their game against the Seattle Seahawks. Trailing 38-7, Daniels was still in with less than eight minutes remaining.
As Daniels ran with the football, he was brought down to the ground awkwardly. As he braced himself, the Commanders QB extended his left arm, which bent in the wrong direction.

Daniels missed earlier this week on ‘Monday Night Football’ due to a hamstring injury, and has missed two others due to a knee injury in September. Now, add the arm injury to the list. No diagnosis was given or hasn’t been yet, but it’s safe to assume that Daniels will be out for the foreseeable future in D.C..
Likely without their star second-year quarterback for a time coming up soon, Marcus Mariota will presumably start moving forward. That’s as the Commanders are scheduled to take on the Detroit Lions in Week 10, followed by a trip overseas to play the Miami Dolphins in Week 11 prior to a bye week later in November.
