New Englands Patriots owner Robert Kraft will not be selected for the 2026 Pro Football Hall of Fame Class, according to ESPN.

Kraft reportedly did not receive enough votes from the committee to enter the HOF in his first year as a finalist, much like his former head coach Bill Belichick.

He advanced to the final round in the contributor category after being eligible for the last 14 years, but fell short of the votes needed from the 50-person committee.

Kraft, alongside Belichick, led the Patriots to six Super Bowl victories from 2001-2018. While still regarded as one of the best owners of the modern era, Kraft’s exclusion from the class didn’t raise as many eyebrows as Belichick’s.

The sports world erupted in confusion when the veteran head coach didn’t receive enough votes to be inducted.

While the Patriots have led an impressive season and have placed themselves in Super Bowl LX, they’ll have to wait at least another year for their owner and former head coach to reach the coveted Hall of Fame.
