The 2020 NFL Draft is going to be a strange ride nobody’s ever seen before.
The entire draft will be done virtually with coaches, general managers and scouts all working from their homes due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This won’t stop NFL commissioner Roger Goodell from announcing the first-round picks like he always does, but instead of doing it up on a big stage, he’ll be in his basement in Bronxville, New York.
Peter King of NBC Sports shared this nugget on Sunday:
FMIA filed in full to ace ed @dombonvissuto … Draft nuggets, an NFL galley I had a lot of fun compiling, plus the usual nonsense.

Happy Easter everyone!

One other thing: Roger Goodell will (as suspected) announce first-round picks standing in his basement in Bronxville, N.Y.
The league has 58 players participating in the virtual draft to try to spice up the action. But if this weekend’s “Saturday Night Live” broadcast was any indication, it’s going to be a bit weird.
