Ronnie Stanley Has Been Elite For The Ravens
Mitch Stringer-USA TODAY Sports

It’s been a long two years for offensive lineman Ronnie Stanley.

The Baltimore Ravens best lineman of 2022 is returning from an injury which kept him sidelined for the 2020 and 2021 seasons.

However, his return is seeing him playing at an elite level, despite having that ankle injury back in 2022.

So how good has Stanley been for the Ravens this season?

PFF Has Ronnie Stanley Ranked As The Best Pass Blocker Of 2022

After missing two seasons of playing football, Ronnie Stanley is playing like a new man.

His play this season is so good that Pro Football Focus has him ranked as the number one pass blocker in the NFL.

This statistic shows how he’s still an elite pass blocker, even after missing so much time from playing.

While some players get rusty after missing so much time, Stanley isn’t showing any signs of rust.

His 1.7% pressure rate allowed shows how he’s protecting quarterback Lamar Jackson this season.

Also, his zero sacks allowed shows how good he’s doing.

However, his success isn’t over the full season, as he’s only played five games this season.

But his start to the 2022 season after returning from a major injury is still positive news for him and the Ravens.

While he’s the best pass blocker in the NFL, his season is going to only improve as the Ravens have an easy schedule.

With the easy schedule, he shouldn’t have any issue maintaining his dominance against opposing defenses.

However, the NFL playoffs might test him and show if he can still be elite against an elite defense.
