In the first half of the NFC North battle between the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions, RB Roschon Johnson was questionable to return as he was evaluated for a concussion. After evaluation, the Texas product was ruled out. The injury to Johnson makes it D’Andre Swift’s backfield for the remainder of the game.

Johnson failed to receive a carry prior to his exit from the game. On the season, Johnson has just 139 yards, but has six touchdowns on the ground. The tailback has become a goal line specialist for Chicago offensively.
Johnson missed time in 2023 with a concussion, lending pessimism to this diagnosis. Ideally, the team will have more information postgame and into the mini bye week.
