Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson is heading into free agency after one season with the franchise.

Wilson spent one year with the Steelers after two seasons with the Denver Broncos and 10 seasons with the Seattle Seahawks.

As the veteran quarterback enters free agency, a recent prediction from Matt Johnson at Sportsnaut has Wilson landing with the New York Giants

Johnson believes the Giants will sign Wilson season and draft a quarterback on Day 2 of the NFL Draft.

He explained that the Giants have an up-and-coming offense with a stud wide receiver in Malik Nabers, a talented piece on the offensive line in Andrew Thomas and a running back with clear potential in Tyrone Tracy Jr.

During his lone season as the Steelers' starting quarterback, Wilson passed for 16 touchdowns and 2,482 yards with a 63.7 completion percentage.

He led the Steelers to a 10-8 season, including a 28-14 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in the wild-card round. Wilson took over the starting role from Justin Fields after nursing a calf injury to start the year.

If Wilson were to sign with the Giants, he would be joining a struggling franchise that finished last season with a 3-14 record, winning just one game at MetLife Stadium.

Last season, New York started three different quarterbacks without much success, including Tommy DeVito, Drew Lock and Daniel Jones.
