Russell Wilson wants Jadeveon Clowney to re-sign with Seahawks

One of the best players still available on the free-agent market is pass-rusher Jadeveon Clowney.

Clowney has reportedly been in talks with the Tennessee Titans and New York Jets, but Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson wants the 27-year-old to return to Seattle.

“Clowney come back. If you are listening bro," Wilson said on his Instagram page, according to Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times. "We’ve got another Super Bowl to win, man. We need you. We need you to come back Clowney. Clowney, Clowney if you can hear me, please come back, bro. I need you homie.”

Clowney spent the 2019 season with Seattle after being traded by the Houston Texans. He had one interception for a touchdown, four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries — one for a touchdown — and 21 solo tackles on the season.

The three-time Pro Bowler was a big reason why the Seahawks went 11-5 last season, but if Seattle doesn't offer him the money he wants then he'll likely move on to another organization.
