The most anticipated matchup of the weekend is set to take place in Kansas City on Sunday night when the No. 2 seed Buffalo Bills (13-4) travel to GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium for a major clash with the No. 1 seed Chiefs (15-2) in the AFC Championship Game.

These teams met earlier in the regular season, with the Bills winning 30-21. While the two quarterbacks, Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes, are good friends and have had a plethora of thrilling showdowns, Allen is 0-3 against Mahomes in the playoffs.

A win on Sunday for the Chiefs would make Mahomes the first quarterback in NFL history to record four consecutive postseason victories against a single opposing QB.

However, longtime former NFL quarterback and current "Thursday Night Football" analyst Ryan Fitzpatrick believes this is the Bills' time to reach the Super Bowl, which would be their first since 1994. Despite making it to four straight Super Bowls in the 1990s, the Bills have yet to win the big game.

"I think it's the Bills time. I think its the Bills time to finally knock off the champs and get to the Super Bowl. " Fitzpatrick said.

While Ryan Fitzpatrick wasn't an All-Pro-level quarterback, he was a formidable presence in the NFL for many years, starting for several teams over the course of his 17-year career. That included a stint with the Bills from 2009-2012, where he threw for over 11,000 yards, 80 touchdowns, and 64 interceptions.

He also played for the Rams, Bengals, Titans, Texans, Jets, Buccaneers, Dolphins and Commanders before retiring in 2021. Despite all of that, his heart still lies in Buffalo, and he showed that during the divisional round, where he was seen hyping up the crowd before the game and even removing his shirt in below-freezing temperatures.

If the Bills can win on Sunday, it would be a tremendous accomplishment for the city and Josh Allen, who is awaiting his first Super Bowl appearance. It would also end the Chiefs' illustrious streak as they look to win their third consecutive title this postseason and make NFL history.
